Quality starts at origin
Decided long before shipment
For most of what we trade, quality is shaped at origin - in how a crop is harvested, fermented or processed, dried and stored. A bean or lot that is prepared well travels better and performs more predictably.
When you enquire, we talk through the parameters that matter to your process and how a given lot is prepared and documented. We would rather be precise for your order than generic across the site.
Sustainability & responsible sourcing

Responsible sourcing matters in West African commodities, and buyers increasingly need information to evidence it. We treat sustainability and quality as subjects to explain and support around a real requirement - not as claims to decorate a website.
If your buyers need particular responsible-sourcing information or quality assurances, tell us in your enquiry. We will be clear about what can be evidenced for a given origin and lot, and honest where something needs to be confirmed. We do not claim audited traceability, certified sourcing or regulatory compliance here without the supporting evidence to stand behind it.

Do you publish fixed specifications and grades?
We prefer to confirm grades, forms and parameters for your specific enquiry rather than publish fixed specifications we cannot yet stand behind for every order. Tell us what you buy against and we will confirm what we can currently support.
Can you provide certificates or traceability records?
Ask, and we will tell you honestly what documentation is available for a given lot. We do not claim audited traceability or certified sourcing on this website without the evidence to support it - that is a conversation to have around a real enquiry.
How do you approach sustainability and quality?
We treat both as topics to explain and substantiate around a specific requirement, not as marketing claims. Where you need particular quality parameters or responsible-sourcing information, raise it in your enquiry and we will discuss what can be evidenced.
